The next generation Corvette is here, and with it comes an entirely new line of American Roar Racing exhaust systems!
GM has really outdone themselves on this new C7 chassis. From the magnificiently sculpted exterior to the completely redesigned interior the new Corvette is a real beauty. The near 50-50 weight distribution of the chassis and all new magnetic ride suspension keep it nice and stable through any turn!
The part that we took most interest in however, is the 6.2L V8 that resides under the bonnet, churning out 460 horsepower and 465 ft/lbs. of torque!
It was our task to harness the sound produced by the grumbly LT1 motor and transform it into an 8-Cylinder symphony, resulting in the most unique, exotic sounding exhaust system to ever be produced for the Corvette.
GTHAUS is proud to present this all new American Roar Racing exhaust. American Roar Racing is the muscle car division of GTHAUS. Keeping things consistent with our Meisterschaft line, we use highly polished T-304 and T-316 grade stainless steel to produce our hand-made American Roar Racing exhaust systems. This is not limited to only the mufflers and tips, but the inlet piping, the hangers, and all of the hardware as well. The entire system, front to back, side to side, is manufactured with some of the highest grade stainless steel available on the market.
For the New Corvette Stingray, American Roar Racing offers the GTS (Ultimate Performance) and GTC (EV Control) which come standard with our signature 4x102mm Round Split tips.
Included with the exhaust system is our cat-back LSR mid-pipe, which removes the restrictive secondary catalytic converters and replaces them with full cat-back 76mm (3-inch) piping with a crossflow section to provide maximum flow and improve performance.
The American Roar Racing GTC (EV Control) brings you the best of both worlds, featuring an electronic valve system that allows you to control the volume of your exhaust via the included hardwire toggle switch or optional wireless remote. The valve system operates on a 12VDC power source and is controlled manually.
The American Roar Racing GTS (Ultimate Performance) offers same iconic sound and performance as the GTC system in open mode. However, the GTS system does not feature valve control and thus does not have the convenience of ‘closed’ or ‘quiet’ mode.
The new C7 Stingray was a truly exciting project for us and we enjoyed every bit from beginning to end. We hope this system brings you as much joy as it brought us the first time we ‘pushed to start’.
